Unlike lithium-ion, these batteries are non-flammable, and this in turn helps to further reduce costs as they do not require additional protection for the batteries to prevent fire. According to the company’s requirements, the battery also has the potential to be used in shipping, which is extremely careful about fire risk to avoid damaging the valuable cargo.
